Chapter Twelve
Allie couldnât take her gaze from the man who was the love of her life. He looked differentâlong hair, the scar her father had given him, a harshness in his eyesâbut deep inside, she couldnât help but see the young man he used to be. Could she accept the changes heâd mentioned? His club, his vengeance against her father, his sexual predisposition?
Against her will, she looked around his shoulder at his bed, decked out for a kind of sex sheâd never experienced. School had been grueling, and she hadnât taken much time for relationships. But a girl had needs. The few times sheâd honored those needs, it had been very vanilla. And unsatisfying.
Her love for Danny, or Cutterâshe had to remember to call him that nowâhad never left her. Sheâd spent her education preparing to help him. She could feel the emotion bubbling to the surface, and desire for him pooling between her legs. He may be different now, but he was still the same under the surface, handsome and loving, and he wouldnât hurt her. Just restrain her. She could trust him to do that.
She leaned into him and pressed her lips to his, her tongue sweeping the seam of his mouth. He opened it and she thrust inside, tangling with his tongue, and showing him the passion she felt for him. She didnât know how long heâd let her take the lead, but while sheâd wanted him as a young girl, now it was with the desire of a woman.
Evidently, he wasnât going to allow it for long. With a groan, he tightened his grip on her and took over the kiss. He plundered her mouth, and she held on to his shoulders with a death grip.
Cutter slipped his hands underneath her blouse, stroking the skin on her back first then moving to her stomach. His hand cupped her breast over her bra, and she sighed into his mouth. It had been a long time since someone touched her this way, and she was thankful it was him.
He broke the kiss long enough to sweep her shirt over her head, exposing a very utilitarian bra. She hadnât planned to have sex with him. Sheâd expected to talk him into the surgery and then set it up. This whole adventure was going better and faster than she could have imagined.
He took her mouth again. The act made her nipples hard, and warmth radiated from her core. She wanted him to touch her, but she figured sheâd better touch him while she could. She didnât know when heâd demand that she be tied up and blindfolded. She wanted to see him before that happened. She slipped her hands under his shirt and pulled it up, rubbing her fingers on whatever skin she could find. But his leather vest, the one he wore that was so like the others in his club, stopped her from taking it off. He broke the kiss with a smile and slipped the garment off his shoulders.
